Making it easier than ever to master the ErgoDox EZ and Planck EZ.
DECEMBER 2019
The Ergo

Hi *|FNAME|*

It's always fun to announce something that's been in the works for months. Today, it's a new feature called Live Training, which shows your keyboard layout on-screen as you use it, including layer changes. There's a lot to it, so see below for the full scoop.

In other news, the small run of Altitude keycaps we've produced is proving popular, with less than 150 ErgoDox EZ sets left at the time of this writing. That's an encouraging response for our first foray into colored keycap sets - thank you!

As always, I would love to hear your thoughts on the newsletter, and in particular about Live Training. Write me anytime at ez@ergodox-ez.com.

All the best,
Erez

Introducing Live Training

Introducing Live Training

Your layout, in real time

With Live Training, you can see your layers and keys as you type. This works with no downloads, no drivers, and nothing to install. It even works when you're typing into a different window, making for an interactive "floating keymap" you can just have on your screen at any time.

Featured User Interview

Peter Linder

Project Manager
What I love about Peter's setup is how he customizes it and makes it work for his needs. This interview is chock-full of creative hacks like using Lego pieces to mark areas of the keyboard and creating an edge-of-desk negative tilt solution. Did you know you can mount an ErgoDox EZ to a dual-monitor mount, for completely vertical use?
"I ordered a dual monitor stand, attached it inverted, and voilà!"

Made us think

The man or woman snoozing in a chair with a magazine or a book is a person who was being given too much unnecessary trouble by the writer.
